Retail Coach will be in Mexia next week visiting with local retailers. The information they are gathering will be used to establish Mexia's trade area. Using the buying patterns of the people in that geographic area, Retail Coach can determent what new business would be most likely to be successful in Mexia. Then th...e marketing efforts of the MEDC can be focused toward those retailers.

The Mexia EDC exhibited at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) show this past week. Traffic at this year’s show was up from last year as was interest in Mexia. The May ICSC show is the largest of its kind. Pictured is Tommy Tucker before the Mexia, Texas banner at the show.

The MEDC hired The Retail Coach to help Mexia solidify its position as the retail center of the tri-county area. We are expecting big things from this partnership.

The IAMC Conference in Colorado Springs was great. The programs were very informative and the members highly hospitable. Needless to say, the Broadmore was grand. MEDC is happy to have been a part of such an event.
