Nice touch by the Mexia Economic Development Corporation (EDC) - the Mexia name has been issued in Boston, Massachusetts. Hopefully, a trip by some local EDC members, along with families from Fairfield and Buffalo EDCs, will result in some Massachusetts industries and businesses locating in Mexia, as well as Freestone and Leon counties. Representing Mexia EDC in Boston ere Executive Director Tommy Tucker and wife Debra, and Troy Miller (EDC Board Member amd Mexia City Councilman) and wife Jan. Nice to have 'em safely returned to good old Mexia.
